Objective & Level Progression

TetriFast 1.14 is a 6-player real-time multiplayer TetriNET game played on a 12 × 22 field. Guide falling tetromino pieces into complete horizontal lines to clear them, collect special blocks, and outlast all opponents.

  • Survival Victory: If a newly spawned piece collides with stacked blocks at the top of your field, you are eliminated. The last surviving player (or team) wins the round.
  • Levels (1–100): Every Lines / Level cleared advances your level by Level Increase, accelerating piece drop speed up to Level 100.
  • Click-to-Focus: Click any opponent's mini-field on the Fields (F1) tab to inspect it on the primary canvas; click your own mini-field to return.

Special Blocks & Inventory Mechanics

Clearing lines triggers special block spawns on random existing tiles of your board (based on Lines / Special and Specials Added). When you clear a line that contains one or more special blocks, those specials are added to your 18-slot FIFO inventory (multiplied by the number of lines cleared simultaneously). Always activate or discard the first (leftmost, red-outlined) special in your queue using keys 1–6 or D.

Block Name Type Effect on Target Player's Field (Slots 1–6)
a Add Line (a) * Attack Pushes the target's stack up by 1 row and inserts a garbage line with 1 random hole at the bottom.
c Clear Line (c) $ Defense Deletes the bottom-most row of the target's field and shifts all upper rows down by 1.
n Nuke Field (n) $ Defense Completely wipes all blocks from the target's entire 12 × 22 field, leaving a clean slate.
r Random Clear (r) * Attack Clears up to 10 random cells on the target's field (can create awkward holes or remove helpful tiles).
s Switch Fields (s) * / $ Swap Swaps your entire board state with the target player's board. Any rows in the top 6 danger zone are cleared on both boards after swapping.
b Clear Specials (b) * Attack Converts all special block spheres currently sitting on the target's board into ordinary solid blocks.
g Block Gravity (g) $ Defense Pulls all floating blocks straight down to fill empty gaps in every column, then automatically clears any completed lines.
q Blockquake (q) * Attack Randomly shifts each row on the target's field left or right by 1–3 columns, scrambling stack alignment.
o Block Bomb (o) * Attack Detonates every Block Bomb (o) currently on the target's field, scattering surrounding 3 × 3 neighbor tiles into empty cells.
Game Rules & Server Modes
  • Classic Rules: Multi-line clears send penalty garbage lines directly to all opponents: 2 lines → +1 line, 3 lines → +2 lines, 4 lines (Tetris) → +4 lines.
  • Sudden Death: When configured (`m`/`s` > 0), once the Sudden Death timer elapses, 1 garbage line is added to every surviving player's field periodically until a winner is decided.
  • Average Levels: Dynamically sets the active fall speed of the session to the arithmetic mean of all surviving players' levels.
Teams, Winlist Scoring & Room Moderators
  • Teams: Players who set the same non-empty Team name (in Client or Partyline) fight together. A match ends when all remaining survivors belong to the same team, and Classic penalty lines do not hit teammates.
  • Winlist Points: At the end of a multiplayer match, points are awarded to the Winlist: 3 pts for 1st place, 2 pts for 2nd place, and 1 pt for 3rd place.
  • Room Moderator (*): The creator of a room (or the longest-tenured player if the creator leaves) holds the Moderator role and can configure Server (F6) rules, start/pause/stop games, or kick/ban disruptive players.
